Summer re-cap

Summer is almost over! School starts Monday. I guess we have to go back so we can get to another summer. We have had an awesome summer. We have taken a couple trips, had some visitors, and just enjoyed our time with Charlie. He had his 15 month check up, he's 33.5 inches tall and 26 lbs 10 oz. The nurse said if he keeps growing like he is, he will be taller than Thomas (early to tell, I know, we won't plan our retirement on the NBA yet). Here's some pictures of the last part of summer:

This morning Thomas got up with Charlie and he insisted on wearing his shoes with his PJs. Then I got up and he wanted to brush his teeth while talking on his calculator "phone." Time is flying but we are having so much fun.

Summertime!!!

The upside of teaching is definitely the summer. Thomas and I have loved the past couple weeks we have spent home with Charlie. We've done some visiting, had some visitors and are enjoying the summer.


Great Uncle Jack and Aunt Mary visiting from California. It was good to see them and had a good time with them here.

Grandma Daniel and I were planting and Charlie participated too. He apparently likes to eat dirt. A little dirt never hurt!
The same night Charlie swept the kitchen for at least 40 minutes. He would scream when the sweeper would get stuck on a chair and then he would keep on sweeping.

Keep enjoying the summer, I know we will!

Gettting Better at the Walking Thing

Charlie's getting there. Honestly I'm not in a big rush because I know we will be running all over the house when he really starts.

Not Walking for an Audience

This was taken a couple weeks ago when Charlie was taking a step or two. We thought we would show him off to my parents but he had different plans (don't they always!). He has such a great personality!

9 months already!?!?!

Last night Thomas and I were talking about how time has flown. It seems like yesterday we were planning a wedding and then trying to find pants to fit my growning belly and now Charlie is 9 months!

Charlie had a big weekend, he has mastered the pull-up. He tries everywhere, the exersaucer, activity bar, couch, Mom, Dad, etc. He is so proud of himself and we are too.
